Excellence in cancer treatment

The Amethyst concept was developed to create a network of centres that provide cancer patients with access to state-of-the-art equipment.

The first Amethyst centre to open in Europe is the Amethyst Radiotherapy Centre, located near Bucharest. The clinic started its activities in September 2012. Amethyst centres use IMRT-VMAT – the newest and most effective cancer treatment solution – for all patients treated.

Amethyst radiotherapy clinics offer the highest quality medical services and use the latest technologies developed in the field, to patients suffering from oncological diseases, services which are based on the operation of state-of-the-art medical equipment by the medical team of specialists coordinated by Prof. Dr. Gabriel Kacso.
