Specialist in Medical Oncology
Dr. Serescu Radu is a Specialist in Medical Oncology and is part of the Amethyst Otopeni team since 2021.
Experience
Dr. Serescu Radu participated in super-specialization courses in medical oncology ESMO, ASCO, on specific treatment in oncological pathology: digestive, gynecological, pulmonary. Also, Dr. Serescu Radu actively participates on a weekly basis in multidisciplinary oncology committees in hospitals in Bucharest and outside, in order to establish the therapeutic attitude for oncology patients.
Memberships
Dr. Serescu Radu is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) and a member of the Romanian Society of Radiotherapy and Oncology, student at ESCO (College of the European School of Oncology).
Education
Since 2013, he has been working as a medical oncology resident at Fundeni Clinical Institute – initially in the Internal Medicine Sector, then in the Digestive Oncology Department. During this period he participated in various medical symposia and clinical work, gaining throughout this time extensive experience in performing and applying treatment according to international guidelines. From 2019-2021, he was employed as a Specialist in Medical Oncology at SJU Buzău, and subsequently, from 2021, he worked as a specialist in the Amethyst Otopeni clinic.
