Amethyst Centre Satu-Mare
The Amethyst Satu-Mare Center is the first and only radiotherapy and medical oncology center in Satu-Mare, thus supporting oncology patients with the most modern treatments, available both in all Amethyst Romania centers and in the rest of the centers in Europe.
Our goal is to bring innovative treatments to patients from all corners of Romania, managing to offer hope and chances for life. Thus, we have brought the highest standards of treatment, the most competent staff and the most modern equipment, right to their homes.
An oncology center of excellence means more than good treatments. It means an experienced team, working together for the good of patients. The medical team and staff of Amethyst Satu-Mare have been carefully selected and trained, based on the Amethyst protocols.
Within the radiotherapy department, our team consists of radiation therapists, physicists, radiotherapy technicians, radiology and toxicity nurses who, together, ensure the administration of radiotherapy at the highest standards of quality and safety.
The oncology department is made up of oncologists, nurses, and pharmacists, who constantly collaborate to provide the best treatments.
These two departments are, of course, complemented by a nutritionist and a psychologist. The entire team constantly collaborates within a multidisciplinary committee, where a personalized treatment plan for the patient is established. You can read more about the multidisciplinary committee here.
