Oana Hetea is a licensed psychologist in clinical psychology and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy and has been part of the Amethyst team since 2015.
She has attended several training and professional development courses such as: “Intervention Skills in the Assessment and Counselling of Cancer Patients and End-of-Life Patients”, “Solution Focused Therapy”, “Couples Therapy: mind maps and practical skills”, “Under Hypnosis with Thomas Dowd”, “Personality Assessment – from normality to pathology”, “Self-knowledge and personal development”, “Clinical Cognitive Science – Applied Clinical Psychology” and participated in several workshops including: “Psychotherapy through virtual reality” and “Counselling children and adolescents”.
She is a member of the Romanian College of Psychologists.
She graduated from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the “Babeș-Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca and from the Master’s Degree in “Psychological Techniques for Behavioral Control and Development of Human Potential” at the same institution.

At the Amethyst Clinic, psych. Oana Hetea offers patients support in effectively adjusting to the stressors they face. Through therapy sessions, both individual and group, it intervenes in the case of emotional disorders comorbid to the neoplastic condition and contributes effectively to increasing the quality of life of patients.
