Dr. Claudiu Hopîrtean is a Primary Radiotherapy Physician, with skills in radiosurgery and stereotactic radiotherapy and is part of the Amethyst Cluj team, starting in 2023.

Experience

Starting from 2013, Mr. Dr. Claudiu Hopîrtean worked as a radiotherapy resident doctor at the Oncological Institute “Prof. Dr. Ion Chiricuță” Cluj-Napoca, and later worked at Medisprof, as primary radiotherapy physician and coordinator of the radiotherapy department.

Education

He is a graduate of the “Iuliu Hațieganu” Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca.

He is a member of SRROM, ACRO, ASTRO, ESTRO, ESMO, ESGO, EANO.

Areas of expertise

Among the topics of medical interest are cerebral, vertebral and pulmonary radiosurgery; SBRT/SABR – stereotactic radiotherapy of lung, pancreas, liver, lymph nodes, adrenal glands, prostate and other soft tissues; IMRT-VMAT radiotherapy for breast, rectal, gynecological and urological tumors.
